Vignette Question - Where do you end your joists/roof deck?

So using the column and beam technique.

I draw the beams from column to column center. When you draw the joists and the roof deck they also go to centerline of beam.

At the exterior walls should you bring the joists, and decking to the exterior of the buildings walls?...Beyond the centerline?

Draw everything to centerlines.
