Calculations on Ballast study materials

Hello everyone, I am reading Ballast and I am almost finish reading it; however,I am still not comprehending the topics and calculations. I am planning to take Thaddues as soon as I finish Ballast. Do you all think (those who took the test) that Thaddues lectures will help me understand the minimum amount of information to pass this test? I also took and passed BDCS. Thanks.
