hello, tried rotating the roofs in this round with the ridges running parallel with clerestory to test things out.
- clerestory under gable roof is ok right?
- my roof planes are eq-eq. can someone check my points are right: 8'-0" + 1'-6" = 9-6" low pt of low roof. with 2:12 brings me up to 13'-9" high point. 13'-9" + 3'-6" (clerestory + roof assembly) = 17'-5" low point of high roof. final high point of high roof with 6:12 = 25'-8". do you always use the high point of the low roof as your starting point for calcing the high roof even when the high point lands right in the middle of the sloping gable high roof?
- no cricket needed in this orientation
- north wall gutter is split to accommodate different roof heights
- just realized my flashing should run all the way to the end of the west wall and i forgot to flash the 3 sides of the chimney - yikes
anything else?
thanks!
